![]() So for sake of discussion we can get rid of the tach / no tach issue it makes no difference in what cluster will work in what year model. 92-94, which to oversimplify it a tiny bit, determines how the electronics of the cluster are designed and the way they connect to the truck. The question is really no different here's why: the tach and non-tach clusters install the same way. I figure I'll need to do some DRAC modifying soon to correct the speedometer in my Suburban recent trips using my GPS show that when the speedo says 65 I'm really going 70! That's enough of a spread to get a nasty ticket over - set the cruise at 70 and get nailed for 75+ in a 65.Ġ6 Silverado ISS / 06 Silverado SS / 06 300C SRT8 At one point someone posted on FSC that the table for setting the DRAC was "backwards" and somewhere else I recall seeing that people had just used trial-and-error to get their DRAC set properly. I haven't done this swap and can't vouch for how accurate any of the info is. ![]() I just re-posted the original article on there, with modified links, all the files hosted on my server. I have also saved the pictures from the original article. ![]() I searched the net forever, looking for copies of this file, and finally found it. ![]() The problem is the article is old, and it's been missing the pictures and the PDF file (DRAC2.pdf) that details setting the DRAC module up for the speedometer correction. There's a tech article on regarding this swap, that's where I first saw it. ![]()
